11 years later they are still sweet

I bought some washer fluid on the road. Stuff almost killed me. It got sudsy and froze almost instantly. Not fun on the highway. I visited the closest Mercedes dealer and they vampired it clean. Stuff scared me back to name brands.

Hey benz, wanna know why this is the dumbest thing ever? In the winter, when the blades are frozen on the windshield. 95% of people will use the windshield washer liquid to defrost everything to a minimum and then scrub the rest with the thawed blades from the liquid dripping on it. What kind of engineers do you hire there.. lol

I have only one disc inside the slot and the other 5 are empty and yet doesn't want to take other discs it says drive unavailable

I am commenting in 2024 and I own a 2013 SL63 AMG. It is the most BADASS design on the road of any Mercedes. Many called the design ugly, but they never considered the intimidation factor and heritage details the car has. Today’s cars are a joke of confused transitional technology. No soul and no remembrance of past greatness. I’ve owned an R107 560sl for 30 yrs, I know what I’m talking about. The R231 pre-facelift will be a future classic of hardtop design and engineering without cost considerations.

But you can't do anything when it rains 😂

mercedes: don't waste money on gadgets we did

One of the other manufacturers did something similar years ago in a car I had. Not sure if was a Citroen xantia or a Vauxhall vectra , it had the water tube from the washer bottle attached to the wiper if I remember. Far improved visibility when cleaning windscreen.

I have an excellent example being delivered tomorrow. I KNOW I’m going to like it, but I’m concerned about all those complex systems. They may work great when the car is new or young, but what about when it gets old? I bet they all start going wrong, eventually, and start costing a lot of money! I expect to hold onto mine as long as possible, but even if the drivetrain and major components survive, I’m afraid all those sophisticated systems will kill it…

i'm a german immigrant to the usa. i had a mercedes back in germany, i don't have one yet in amerika. but i am working so hard and saving to get one again. there is no substitute. the best, or nothing. bernd - west texas

would have been good if they showed the driver pressing the stiffen button for the airmatic suspension showing that it can go around corners better at higher speeds.

10 years later.. companies just started to add ambient light and 24inch connected screen , even BMW

all pretty but just another invention that adds to the cost of maintenance.

But when this is broken it’s hard to replace new because we need buy calibration stand
